Getting Access

Use this page when you cannot open a protected docs page, need access for a new lab member, or received a share link that does not work.

What Access Means

LevelWho can view itCommon use
PublicAnyoneEditing instructions, access help, public lab information
SharedAnyone with the specific share link, code, or project passwordA project page shared with collaborators outside the lab
MemberPeople signed in with a lab-approved Google accountLab onboarding, internal protocols, compute notes, day-to-day operations
AdminWebsite/docs admins onlyBilling, deploys, secrets, domain ownership, and access management

Shared access is separate from member/admin access. A collaborator can be given access to one project page without becoming a lab member.

  2. Use the Google account you expect the lab to recognize.

  3. If access is denied, send the email address you used to a lab admin and ask them to add it to the lab roster or the docs allowlist.
